Company & Certificates
Hedinger company exists since 1946 and started with electromechanical support for cars. End of the Sixties began repairing starters also for airplanes. Hedinger MRO has become an important MRO player since then offering following certificates with the highest Swiss quality and standards:
- 1971 Part-145 MRO (Maintenance and Repair Organization) for electro-mechanical components, certified by FOCA in Switzerland on behalf of EASA.
- 1984 FAA (Federal Aviation Administration)
- 2010 TCCA (Transport Canada Civil Aviation Administration)
- 2023 CAA (UK)
- Q32023 Wheels & Brakes (C14 rating) for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul. NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Level 3 and Level 2. Own painting shop.
In addition, we are ISO 9001:2015 certified.
Services
Customers rely on us as a reliable MRO for whatever following components are installed on a commercial plane, business jet or helicopter:
- Mechanical: Starter Generators, any other generators, voltage regulators, ignition units, landing light motors, Permanent Magnet Alternators and Vacuum pumps.
- Wheels & Brakes. NDT
We have our own rewinding facility approved by the respective authorities.
OEMs
We work very closely with our key OEMs.
- Safran Electrical & Power. Hedinger MRO is the first “Loyalty Partner” in Europe.
Similar arrangements exist with other large OEMs. This helps us to get direct access to their latest CMMs and original Spare Parts.
Customers
We are particularly proud of our national and internation customer portfolio. Around 85% of the turnover in the electro-mechanical shop is generated with global customers. Our quality and TAT (Turnaround time) is of highest Swiss standard; ask us about proof, be it from authorities, be it from our local and or global customer base. At our Wheels and Brakes shop, we are honored to work for all of the four large Swiss based airlines (Swiss, Edelweiss, Helvetic and Chair), where we execute all MRO work.
